  • FIELD & MAIN BANK ENHANCES ITS TRUST SERVICES TEAM WITH A NEW TRUST OFFICER AND PROMOTION

    Nicholas E. Whitt has been hired as Trust Officer at Field & Main Bank. Whitt returns to his hometown of Henderson, Ky., after serving as Senior Compliance Analyst at J. J. B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC, in Louisville. There he was responsible for compliance training, conducting annual compliance audits for more than 20 branches and reviewing client accounts. He holds a Series 7 License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and will be responsible for trust administration at Field & Main.

    Whitt graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky in 2010, where he earned a B.S. in communication. He attended the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and served as Senior Notes Editor for the University of Louisville Law Review, Volume 52. Whitt earned a J.D. in May 2014 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association that October. He is the co-founder and chief operating officer of O’Brien Whitt Publishing, LLC.

    He has served the Kentucky area through his involvement in Solinger Association—for which he was president—Central High School Partnership Writing Skills Program and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

    Amy Williams McDowell has been promoted to Trust Officer at Field & Main Bank. She has nearly 20 years of experience in trust services, 13 of which have been with Field & Main Bank, formerly Ohio Valley Financial Group. McDowell is a 1993 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration Management, and she graduated from the Cannon Trust School, with honors, in 2005. She resides in Henderson with her husband, Larry, and they have one daughter.
