  • FIELD & MAIN INSURANCE AGENT RECEIVES ChHC DESIGNATION

    Michael Williams, chartered healthcare consultant with Field & Main Insurance, has earned the Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC) designation from the American College of Financial Services. Candidates for the ChHC designation must complete a minimum of four courses and eight hours of proctored examinations. They must also fulfill stringent experience and ethics requirements.

    Williams specializes in the pre-retiree and senior health and life insurance market at Field & Main Insurance. He has been a licensed life and health insurance advisor since 1996. Williams counsels Field & Main customers on selecting insurance coverage to help minimize the financial risks associated with retirement such as acute healthcare and long-term care costs.

    The ChHC program is considered the most comprehensive credential available for benefits specialists, healthcare consultants and financial advisors interested in effectively providing clients with cutting-edge information. A ChHC can provide expert advice on a broad range of health insurance-related topics, including state exchanges, medical loss ratios, Early Retiree Reinsurance Programs, Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Cafeteria Plans, Medicare, and more.

    Additionally, Williams is a Certified Senior Advisor through the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, and he received the Long Term Care Certification by the Corporation for Long Term Care. He holds a B.S. degree in biology from Western Kentucky University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Evansville. Williams and his wife Christa have two adult children and two grandchildren who reside in Henderson.
